The Chicago Blackhawks Training Camp Festival is Coming Up Soon

Concierge Preferred loves the Chicago Blackhawks! While it’s true that last season’s first-round playoff loss to the Phoenix Coyotes was disappointing, the 2021-22 season is just around the corner, which means that the Blackhawks 2022 Training Camp Festival is coming up on Saturday, May 29. Attending the festival will be a great way to cheer on Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, and the rest of the Blackhawks as they once again get ready to chase the Stanley Cup and bring it back to the Windy City.

The Chicago Blackhawks Training Camp Festival promises to be a great time for all, and also gives fans a chance to see their favorite team in action before the season starts. The marquee event of the festival will be live practices and scrimmages that will feature Stanley Cup-winning coach Joel Quintile mice’s up, giving fans an inside look at the team’s practice regimen. The first 10,000 fans to arrive will also receive a Jonathan Toews bobblehead. Other events of the festival will include a 3-on-3 street hockey tournament, the Blackhawks Bags tournament, other youth hockey events, and the Mad Dash to Madison 5k run/10k roller race.

The festivities will begin at 8 a.m. with the Mad Dash to Madison 10k skate, with the 5k run beginning at 9 a.m. The race will begin under the United Center marquee on Madison Avenue and will go through the West Loop neighborhood before returning to the stadium. Each race is slated to be started by a special Blackhawks guest — fans will only find out who if they attend! After the races, the Training Camp Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration for the races is $35 per person, while tickets to the Festival itself are just $5, and they may be purchased online.
